Frequently Asked Questions

At the heart of our approach lies transparency. We scoured numerous factories in search of the right partners and built a supply chain that ensures we deliver the best quality and value to you. To achieve this, we cast our net wider and avoid restricting ourselves to a single location. We manufacture, source components, and services from trusted partners in Hong Kong, Japan, and Switzerland. Our manufacturers produce components based on our O.E.M. drawings, exclusively for us, and they also produce for top tier horology brands.
In today's world, the cost of labour is often closely tied to the location where a product is manufactured. However, what truly matters is the expertise, machinery, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that go into making a high-quality product, qualities that are only found among a select few manufacturers worldwide. With the right combination of skills and knowledge, it's even possible to create exceptional products on the moon. Whether if it is feasible - we will leave that to your imagination.

We source and customize our components before sending them to our partnered assembler in Switzerland for meticulous assembly and quality control. After this, the watches are shipped to our Sydney location for stocktaking, and when an order is placed, the watch undergoes a final quality inspection before being dispatched worldwide.
Unlike many start-ups, we do not rely on external design consultants or main contractors to coordinate our supply chain. Instead, we have carefully curated a group of high-quality manufacturers and have full control over our product design, from 3D modelling and renders to animations and shop drawings. This enables us to oversee every aspect of the process, from start to finish, and we take great pride in our attention to detail at every step.

A wound spring powers a mechanical watch by unwinding within a barrel. This unwinding motion drives a series of wheels, regulated by the escapement consisting of the escape wheel, pallets, and balance.
The balance's oscillation moves the pallets, releasing the escape wheel teeth incrementally, maintaining balance oscillation. The escape wheel's rotation triggers a sequence of other wheels, one of which moves the watch's hands.

A pulsometer watch, also known as a pulsation scale watch, features a specialized scale on its dial or bezel for measuring an individual's heart rate or pulse. This scale indicates a specific number of pulse beats per minute (BPM) and is used primarily by medical professionals. To use a pulsometer watch, one initiates a timer, counts a set number of heartbeats, and then stops the timer.
The scale on the watch then displays the patient's heart rate in BPM. This feature serves as a valuable tool for healthcare providers, allowing them to quickly and conveniently assess a patient's pulse without requiring additional timing devices. Pulsometer watches are specialized timepieces designed for medical purposes, making them relatively rare compared to conventional watches.
-
Mechanical movements are powered by the wearer's manual winding whereas automatic movements harness the power of motion to wind the watch automatically.
-
The water resistance of our watches is a crucial feature that we take seriously. Our watches are built to withstand water pressure up to 100m / ~328ft (10 ATM), ensuring that they can handle a variety of water-related activities. To provide some context, the typical PADI Open Water Diver license permits diving up to a depth of 18m / 60 ft. Our watches are water-resistant up to 5 times that depth, providing a reliable and durable option for those who enjoy water sports and activities.
